Colorfully vibrant during the day, this place also turns into a decent nightlife spot with several live-band bars and restaurants around.
Located off Beach Road, this area is brimming with activity all day. The main stretch along Arab Street houses a lot of shops selling beautiful fabrics (some really intricately designed middle-eastern style carpets), the small lanes like Haji Lane, Bali Lane and Sultan Gate are a treat for food lovers. There are a lot of eateries here with the most authentic middle-eastern food. Also there are some nice small cafes with unique artful decor and ambiance. However, it is the street-art and wall graffiti along Haji Lane that interests me the most.
